Street Skating in Austin “Something in the Summer”

Hannah Perez started roller skating in September of 2020 at 31 years old. Inspired by street skateboarding, she was drawn to the creativity of street skating early on.  This project was filmed from June through August 2022, filmed and edited by Hannah’s husband, Tony Perez.

“I really wanted to make something to document where my skating is at right now, and hopefully inspire other people to get out and skate! It was a really different experience to push myself and hold onto clips for several months to put them all together for a part. I really had fun with the whole process, planning spots and tricks and even going back to a spot to finally land the trick or get a cleaner clip.”
